Letter to the editor | Toby Nixon not best choice for Kirkland

Mr. Toby Nixon was not prophetic or prescient when it came to annexation. Instead, he was pathetic. He did not represent the citizens of Kirkland. Instead he endorsed more government controls, more regulations, millions more in debt, and policies that seriously impact our personal freedoms. He also failed to acknowledge the true cost to those in the annexation area.

Mr. Toby Nixon was not prophetic or prescient when it came to annexation. Instead, he was pathetic. He did not represent the citizens of Kirkland.  Instead he endorsed more government controls, more regulations, millions more in debt, and policies that seriously impact our personal freedoms. He also failed to acknowledge the true cost to those in the annexation area.

He was seeking an opportunity to re-ignite his political career. He didn’t care what they wanted to the extent of endorsing the denial of letting the citizen’s vote on the issue. He believed he knew best. Are the citizens going to let him decide what’s best for them or do they believe they can decide for themselves?

He would be a terrible choice if the people who voted for him thought they were voting for someone who will represent them. His opponent, Ms. Jessica Greenway, has a far better record of representing the people and their neighborhoods. She’s a far better choice if you want someone to represent what you believe.
