(In response to the Feb. 25 story, “Army soldier gets hero’s welcome home from Iraq). Thanks for doing the report. Reports are good. It was kind of a bogus event. I think it’s time the country moved beyond militarism. This country has killed millions and millions of people since WW2 who never attacked us. So, it’s pretty disgusting to see so many people apparently glorifying and praising military activities by this Michael Tremblay.

I am very peeved at the police and fire chiefs, who allow the use of city vehicles for political activity. But again, without the Kirkland Reporter, we never would even know.
