In his letter on Oct. 19, Toby Nixon explains to the residents of the PAA that we are alloted only three-fourths of a police officer from King County. Mr. Nixon, what does three-fourths of an officer look like? I have personally seen many 911 calls to the PAA that were responded to by two or more officers from King County. When my neighbors experienced a theft, one full detective showed up to investigate. The Pro Annexation folks are using scare tactics regarding our police and fire services. Some services from the county will be cut back as they will in the county. King County cutbacks will not involve police and fire services. Increasing those services with the city will increase our taxes and stress our personal finances.
