Wake up to how our local politicians handle business | Letter

I just read the Kirkland Reporter I received today. It looks as if folks are awakening to the way our mayors (recently past and present), and city council conduct business.

I just read the Kirkland Reporter I received today. It looks as if folks are awakening to the way our mayors (recently past and present), and city council conduct business. It’s unfortunate our last mayor has decided to stay in public “service.” She should fit right in with so many of her party’s State representatives, however.

I would like to add more, but I think three or four folks that wrote in pretty well summed it up. I want to thank Bob Styles for not being intimidated, or letting up on issues I have also seen (60 year resident) but until today, have not voiced my opinions about.

There are few people with the grit to stand up to what has happened to our city, county and State. Robert Style, and Dory Monson (Kiro 97.3) are two local heroes in my mind. Sometime tough choices have to be made. Vastly out numbered, Rob and Dori’s common sense views would (I sincerely hope), make some of the “sheep” at least do their “do diligence” before voting. “Shama Sawant,” need I say more?
