“The Other Side of Immigration”, an award-winning DVD (55 mins.) will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday, April 20 at Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, 308 4th Ave., Kirkland. Free and open to all.

Lively music provides the background as Mexican farmers, couples, youth, and local officials describe why so many Mexicans leave home to work in the U.S. and what happens to the families and communities they leave behind. Alternative immigration policies are also examined.
