A gala Christmas sing-a-long for all ages will be held at Kirkland’s Lake Washington United Methodist Church at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14.

“I’m excited to lead children, teens and adults in familiar carols and beautiful, but less well-known songs of the season,” says Heather Arnold, local elementary school music teacher and assistant conductor of the Kirkland Choral Society. A small ensemble of KCS singers will accompany the audience.

Arnold will bring everyone to singing mode by chanting a warmup guaranteed to have children and adults laughing and in their finest voice.

The sing-along is free, but donations will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will benefit co-sponsors KCS and LWUMC. Light refreshments will be served.

The church is located at 7525 132nd Avenue N.E. in Kirkland.
