Grand opening set

for Cotton Hill Park Trail

A grand opening for the newest link in Kirkland’s chain of urban trails – the Cotton Hill Park Trail – will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13.

The 500 foot long, raised gravel trail was built by volunteers and goes through the middle of Cotton Hill Park, one of the forests being restored by the Green Kirkland Partnership.

The grand opening will be held at 110th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 98th Street.
