The Juanita High School drama department will present “The Man Who Came to Dinner” during March.
The 1930s comedy is directed by Elizabeth McMurray-Hauk, with shows at 7:30 p.m. on March 16, 17 and 23-25, and a show at 2 p.m. on March 18 at Juanita High School.
The play is described as: “Sheridan Whiteside is the dinner guest who just won’t leave! Mr. Whiteside, famous (and infamous) radio personality, settles into the Stanley home in Mesalia, Ohio, after slipping on a piece of ice on the doorstep injuring his hip. Chaos and high comedy ensue as Sherry plays host to Hollywood’s elite. Outrageously fabulous gifts arrive at the Stanley home, including a crate of penguins, a terrarium filled with cockroaches, and a mummy from Egypt! Romance, jokes, and a parade of memorable characters fill the stage in this 1930’s classic, The Man Who Came To Dinner!”
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, with proceeds going to benefit Hopelink.
Juanita High School is located at 10601 NE 132nd St. in Kirkland.
