The Metropolitan Market in Kirkland will hold a kids costume contest from 4-7 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31.

The event is fee to the public.

The event will take place in the store’s “Pumpkin Patch” and judges will be looking for the scariest, cutest, and most creative costumes.

In-store voting will take place from Oct. 31 through Nov. 7, and winners will be announced on Nov. 9. Winners will receive a Toys ‘R’ Us gift card.

The store is located at 10611 NE 68th St. in Kirkland.
