Kirkland business and city leaders raised a total of $59,000 during the Muscular Dystrophy Association Lockup event at the Woodmark Hotel June 17.

“Prisoners,” which were escorted into the MDA Lockup event by volunteer firefighters, spent time raising their bail, to benefit the MDA. Of the 80 participants, the top fund raiser was Brad Magruder, at $4,700.
