Kirkland will host an Oktoberfest celebration in Marina Park Sept. 25-27.Festival hours are 4-11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Marina Park will be the site of two music stages, food trucks and games. The Biergarten is a ticketed venue and participants must be over 21.

Family activities include food trucks on the Willkommen Platz, the Rootbeer Garden on Saturday and Wiener Dog Races on Sunday.

Kirkland Oktoberfest supports four Kirkland based non-profits, KDOG, Imagine Housing, Sibling House and Eastside Timebank.

Expect heavier than normal traffic on Central Avenue and Lake Street around the festival. Marina Park will be closed from Market Street to Lake Street from 5 a.m. Sept. 25 to noon Sept. 28.
