Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra opens season on Nov. 7

Maestro Michael Miropolsky will lead the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra in its season-opening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue.

Maestro Michael Miropolsky will lead the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra in its season-opening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue. The concert will begin with the overture from Verdi’s La forza del destino, followed by the Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No. 2 featuring pianist Angelo Rondello. The program will conclude with Tchaikovsky’s beloved Fifth Symphony.

Soloist Angelo Rondello has performed across the US and makes regular appearances at the Clayton Piano Festival, Campbell University, and the University of the Philippines. He is known for his powerfully expressive performances and has received critical acclaim for his recording of Schumann’s Symphonic Etudes. Mr. Rondello, a native of Bellingham, is a popular performer with Northwest orchestras.

The Westminster Chapel is located at 13646 NE 24th St. in Bellevue.

Tickets are $35 adults, $25 seniors and $15 students. Children aged 12 and under are free.
