Vocalist Loralee Leavitt will lead a recital featuring works by Handel, Caccini, Schubert, and Bernstein on Saturday.
Other pieces that will be performed including songs from “The Hermit Songs” (medieval texts set to music by Samuel Barber). Attendees will also hear Broadway tunes from “Ragtime,” “Spitfire Grill,” “In the Heights” and more.
Fellow performers include Jim Peterson, pianist Lambros Lambrou and Josh Sibley from the Kirkland Academy of Music and Performance.
The event will be at 6 p.m. at Kirkland Congregational Church, 106 5th Ave.
Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
