The Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) will celebrate the bounty of late spring and early summer with its 2016 Wine Dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on June 3 at Chef City Grill on the Kirkland campus in East Building (E147).

The Spring and Summer Bounty Wine Dinner will feature four courses and dessert prepared by LWTech Culinary and Baking Arts students. Each course will be paired with selected wines presented by Watermill Winery with a special guest appearance by winemaker Andrew Brown. Watermill Winery is a 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Gold Medal Winner and a producer of Certified Sustainable winemaking.

The Wine Dinner Series is a collaborative effort between the LWTech Foundation and the Culinary and Baking programs. Proceeds support student scholarships and fees so students are able to participate in educational competitions such as the Culinary Knowledge Bowl. Five LWTech students recently won a silver medal at the Western Regional American Culinary Federation Knowledge Bowl’s 2016 competition.

All participants must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets are $95 per person, with $70 of $95 being a tax-deductible expense, and can be purchased online now until May 30.
