A new exhibit “Stories Untold” opens at the Howard/Mandville Gallery in Kirkland Friday, Sept. 13 and runs through Sept. 30.
As a conceptual artist, Leslie Balleweg seeks to present people and the scenes in which they find themselves, in a way that allows the viewer to interpret the story in each painting.
Perhaps the viewer will see more than one story — each one equally plausible. She also strives to create images that speak to us about human nature and the world in which we live.
The gallery is located 120 Park Lane in Kirkland. For information, call (425)-889-8212.
