Pacific Sound Chorus, Kirkland’s Lyrica Choir share songs of the season

The holiday songs of the season came alive as women of all ages performed together with Pacific Sound Chorus’s concert celebration, “It’s the Holiday Season” held Dec. 13 at East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue.

The holiday songs of the season came alive as women of all ages performed together with Pacific Sound Chorus’s concert celebration, “It’s the Holiday Season” held Dec. 13 at East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue.

In addition, the chorus welcomed the Lake Washington High School’s Lyrica Choir, directed by Jim Peterson and special quartets, including: AirWave, Champagne, Symmetry, Vivace, Yahtzee! and ZEST!

Directed by Susan Kegley, the award-winning Pacific Sound Chorus, chartered in Bellevue in 1990,  is made up of nearly 70 women singers from nearby Bellevue, Issaquah and Sammamish to Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell and Woodinville.

Kirkland residents of Pacific Sound Chorus include: Rebecca Bell, Carol Drew, Juanita Harwood, Kim Kamel, Gayle Robinson and Joani Teutsch.

Members range from ages 20-87, but all are young at heart and singing in a cappella four-part harmony.
