Parkplace Books in Kirkland will present an afternoon book launch with Bob Neir at 2 p.m. May 10.

Join in as Parkplace Books celebrates Neir’s newest historical mystery book, “Yukon Fever.” Neir is a long-time resident of Kirkland and former mayor.  His books include “A City Comes of Age: Political History of Kirkland 1965-1995.” Refreshments will be served.
