Rocky is a handsome 12-year-old Bichon Frise, who will capture you with his warm brown eyes and inquisitive, expressive face. Don’t let his age fool you; Rocky still has plenty of energy to roam and explore the great outdoors with you. If you’re looking for a fun little companion to accompany you into the new year, then come meet Rocky.

Simone, a gentle and shy 2-year-old tabby girl. She likes to play it safe and stay cozy in her spot in our kitty suites, but she is waiting for the right person to come by to warm up her sweet heart. If you’re also a gentle soul, maybe Simone is your kindred spirit.

Both are at the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue, located at the intersection of I-405 and I-90. It is open seven days a week from noon to 6 p.m. For directions call 425-641-0080.

Henry is a 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix. This sweet 11-pound boy can be a little shy around new people. However, once he gets to know you, he likes to be scratched and petted. He really loves treats. Due to his initial shyness, Henry would do best in a home with children aged 6 and up who will understand they need to be calm around him. Henry is available at the King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent, located at 21615 64th Ave S. Adoption hours: 3-6 p.m. Monday, noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. 206-296-PETS or pets@kingcounty.gov.
