Rose Hill Greenways is hosting a ride from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
The ride is less than four miles and begins at Mark Twain Elementary School (9525 130th Ave. N.E. in Kirkland) and is open to all ages.
There are only gentle slopes and one steep hill, which takes less than four minutes to walk up slowly. There will be many stops along the way to re-group and share ideas to improve the route. The group will finish around noon at the Bridle Trails Shopping Center for lunch.

Greenways make it easy for everyone to get around town without a car — on a bike or on foot. The City of Kirkland will soon be improving this route as the first greenway and Rose Hill Greenways is asking community members to share their ideas about how to make it easy for everyone to travel safely through local neighborhoods.
