Rotary Club of Kirkland Downtown hosts blood drive

While many people grabbed a sandwich or salad at nearby restaurants on their lunch breaks Tuesday, Wave Broadband employee April Quedado Norkool stopped by the Puget Sound Blood Center mobile that was set up in the parking lot at Park Place to give a pint of blood.

Norkool heard about the all-day blood drive from David Griffith, membership co-chair of the Rotary Club of Kirkland Downtown, which regularly hosts the event. For more information, visit the Rotary’s Web site.
