Kirkland residents will get the chance to meet Lee at the Kirkland Costco Warehouse from 2–4 p.m. on July 18.

With 116 recipes and 238 pages, Lee offers four generations of authentic home-style Italian meals filled with family secrets. Her cookbook contains well-known favorites and many original dishes never been published before. All were passed down or inspired by her husband’s great grandmother, Teresa Lapetina, affectionately known as “Big Mamma.”

Lee’s passion for Italian-American cooking and love of family is on every page. Readers will find Big Mamma’s Italian-American Cookbook a complete and easy-to-follow guide full of healthy choices and expert advice. She photographed every dish as they were served. Every recipe is introduced with historical family photos and personal anecdotes.
