The Kirkland Spring Beerfest and 0.5K Fun Run will take place from noon to 6 p.m. on April 29 at Areté in downtown Kirkland.
The event will also include music, costume contests and, of course, spring beers.
“Why a half K you ask? We know running is hard. We are on your side. We won’t judge you if you don’t win the race,” a release states. “Superheroes run fast so you don’t have to.”
All participants receive commemorative glassware, six tokens, and an additional token for being in costume.
Half K participants receive a t-shirt, while supplies last, in addition to festival entry.
Entry is $30-40.
This event is organized in conjunction with the Kirkland Downtown Association. To register visit www.eventbrite.com.
