EvergreenHealth has added urologist Dr. Marco Salazar to its Urology and Urogynecology Care practice, where he joins a team of providers who specialize in treating urinary tract and pelvic health issues for men and women.
Salazar is fellowship-trained in treating urinary tract cancers, and his practice focuses on a range of urologic conditions, including prostate diseases, particularly benign prostatic hyperplasia and advanced prostate cancer.

Salazar’s approach encourages patients to play an active role in their care, working with them to reach their health care goals. He strives to help patients understand their urological conditions and aims to support them in making informed decisions about their treatment, taking into account each patient’s individual circumstances, wishes and goals.
Prior to joining EvergreenHealth, Salazar most recently treated patients at Sound Urological Associates in Edmonds as well as Swedish Edmonds Hospital. He attended Yale University’s School of Medicine where he earned his medical doctorate, as well as a Ph.D. in cell biology.
During his time in medical school, Salazar developed a passion for urology.
EvergreenHealth Urology & Urogynecology Care treats patients from three locations in Kirkland and Issaquah. The team is comprised of a group of urological specialists who provide evaluation and treatment options for bladder and prostate issues, erectile dysfunction, kidney disease and urologic cancers for males, as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, urology and physical therapy services for females.
