From 9-11 a.m. Saturday, volunteer trail stewards will be removing invasive plants along the Cross Kirkland Corridor (CKC) at Terrace Park.
The focus for this work party will be on removing blackberries and scotch broom on a gentle slope.
Participants are encouraged to bring long-handled loppers and water. A few extra tools will be available. Long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes and gloves are recommended. Leather gloves are suggested for handling blackberries.
