But 45th District Rep. Larry Springer (D-Kirkland) seemed to have some particularly motivated volunteers in his camp. Arriving at his home just off Market Street after celebrating his re-election, he was greeted by more than one hundred signs from his and other campaigns in the Democratic Party.

“It usually takes a couple of days, and we like to take ‘em down as soon as we can,” Springer said.

But instead of packing them away, the signs decorated his lawn like bumper stickers on a large van. His suspicion that campaign volunteers Teri Fletcher and Rod Graham were responsible was later confirmed when Fletcher showed up at his home the next morning to take a photo of it.
