4th of July t-shirt design contest is now open

Designs must incorporate the city’s 2022 theme, “Celebrate Kirkland, Together Again.”

The Kirkland Downtown Association recently announced that their t-shirt design contest for the 4th of July is now open.

The tees will be given to all 4th of July committee members, volunteers, and event staff, and will be sold before and after the 4th of July parade.

Rules for entry include incorporating “Celebrate Kirkland, Together Again,” using up to three colors, original creations, and artists must reside in or around the greater Kirkland region.

All age groups are encouraged to apply, and the selected designer will receive a free t-shirt with the winning design, an invitation to attend a “Celebrate Kirkland” reception, and complimentary grandstand seats.

Submissions for the t-shirt contest are due on May 1. Click here to enter the contest.
