Agua Verde Cafe & Paddle Club just opened its second location off the shores of Lake Washington at Kirkland’s Houghton Beach Park. The grand opening was held Saturday at 5811 Lake Washington Blvd. N.E. in Kirkland.
Agua Verde’s featured fare is available seven days a week, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Houghton Beach Park’s Concession. The fresh Baja inspired menu items include Tacos de la Casa (your choice of spicy grilled catfish, smoked Alaskan salmon, grilled mahi-mahi, all-natural beef, chili rubbed free-range chicken, all natural shredded pork or sauteed organic yams); quesidillas, nachos, tortas (sandwiches) and more.
For the morning coffee crowd, breakfast burritos and a full espresso bar begins at 9 a.m.
Agua Verde Cafe & Paddle Club, which also has a Seattle location, hopes to bring kayak rentals to Kirkland soon.
