Over the past few months, the City of Kirkland Planning & Community Development and Neighborhood Services staff have been working with annexation residents to begin defining neighborhood boundaries for the areas defined by King County as Finn Hill, North Juanita and Kingsgate. With input from residents, the city developed several concepts. The public is encouraged to view the seven concepts and share your thoughts by taking an online survey by Sept. 30, 2010. Comments will be shared with the Planning Commission and the Kirkland City Council.
These concepts will also be discussed at the following upcoming meetings and presented to the Planning Commission on Oct. 14: Kingsgate: 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Kamiakin Junior High, 14111 132nd Ave. N.E.; Finn Hill: 7 p.m., Sept. 22 at St. John Vianney Church, 12600 84th Ave. N.E.; and North Juanita: 7 p.m., Sept. 23 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 10021 N.E. 124th St.
