The city of Kirkland seeks adult volunteer applicants to fill a vacancy on the library board. The appointment is for an unexpired term ending March 31, 2015 and will be made by the city council. Interested citizens are invited to apply. Completed applications must be received by the City Clerk prior to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8. Applications are available online at www.kirklandwa.gov, at City Hall, 123 Fifth Ave., or by calling the City Clerk’s office at (425) 587-3190.
