Boys Scouts of America congratulates the recent Silver Beaver recipients from the Sammamish Trails District for their service and activity with youth in the Kirkland and Redmond areas.

Boys Scouts of America congratulates the recent Silver Beaver recipients from the Sammamish Trails District for their service and activity with youth in the Kirkland and Redmond areas.

Silver Beaver honors are presented as the council-level distinguished service awards of the Boy Scouts of America. It may be awarded only once to any individual. Recipients will be recognized on March 28t at the 5th Avenue Theatre.

Silver Beaver recipients for 2011 are: Cassie Heaton, Johanna Palmer, Dale Rae, and Marcelo Guerra Hahn.

The Sammamish Trails District serves approximately 2500 youth ages 6-18 through a variety of programs. Scouts have fun, learn values, teamwork, outdoor skills, and actively participate in community service projects. For information, visit www.seattlebsa.org.
