The community is invited to celebrate Earth Day by joining Green Kirkland volunteers and a herd of hungry Rent-A-Ruminant goats from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 24 at Juanita Bay Park, 2201 Market St. An EarthCorps crew and native plant stewards will lead activities to remove invasive plant species. This event is suitable for adults, teens and families. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Youth 14-17 years should be accompanied by an adult, or bring a signed waiver form or a parent/guardian to sign you in.
