The City of Bellevue is asking Kirkland commuters to take a survey to help shape east King County’s transit future.
Responses to this survey are valuable to East King County jurisdictions as the city examines the current state of transit service and ridership and make recommendations to King County Metro and Sound Transit on how to best improve mobility through efficient transit service.
The survey can be found at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/6TJV5L3 and is available through March 23.
This survey is intended to accomplish three goals: (1) help the City of Bellevue understand how and when transit services are typically used in Bellevue; (2) identify users’ general preferences relating to Bellevue’s transit system, including what works, what doesn’t, and how services could be improved to better address local travel needs; and (3) to determine what specific factors influence local travel behavior, particularly among actions the city could take to help encourage transit use in Bellevue.
Those who complete this survey are eligible to win one of three prizes graciously provided by downtown Bellevue restaurants. Prizes include a $75 gift certificate to Purple Café & Wine Bar and $100 gift certificates to Daniel’s Broiler and El Gaucho.
