Join other volunteers to help make Kirkland sparkle and shine for summer guests during the Downtown Kirkland Clean Sweep event that begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 22. Meet at the Kirkland Downtown Association Office, 123 Park Lane, for coffee and donuts before volunteers head out to clean downtown Kirkland streets. Participants will be entered for the chance to win a Sunday brunch for two at Trellis restaurant; manicure and pedicure at Pantera Spa; and a weekend evening stay at the Heathman Hotel with free parking and breakfast at Trellis. Volunteers will also enjoy a barbecue following clean-up at the Grape Choice, courtesy of George’s restaurant. Participants are encourage to bring brooms, dust pans, rakes, crack hoes and gloves.
