Evergreen Healthcare invited the community to attend the Light Up a Life ceremony on Dec. 7 in the Evergreen Hospital Medical Center Galleria.

The annual holiday ceremony honors loved ones and community members who have touched lives with hope, compassion and care.

The program included musical reflections, words of inspiration and a tree lighting ceremony, during which time the community adorned the tree with special remembrance notes and ornaments in honor of loved ones, living and deceased.

Evergreen’s holiday tree is donated to the hospital by the Lions Club of Forks, Wash., whose members cut, deliver and install the nearly 30-foot evergreen tree at the hospital’s main campus galleria courtyard year after year.
