Discover family friendly activities to help you be your Healthiest Best at the EvergreenHealth Healthiest Best Family Fun Day in Kirkland on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“It’s our goal to improve every life we touch in the communities we serve,” said EvergreenHealth CEO Bob Malte. “The Healthiest Best Family Fun Day is all about supporting our friends and families in their journey to health and wellness in an engaging and entertaining way.”

Attendees at the Healthiest Best Family Fun Day can take the opportunity to get wellness resources from a variety of interactive booths and sample healthy lunch recipes prepared by an EvergreenHealth dietitian. Kids are invited to join relay races and bring their favorite stuffed animal for a special “Teddy Bear Clinic,” a real health checkup in an emergency aid car.

Participants of all ages can enjoy other Healthiest Best Family Fun Day highlights such as:

  • Starting at 12 p.m., stretch it out and meet Seattle Sounders FC alum and fan favorite Roger Levesque as he leads Family Fun Day participants in a group stretching exercise.
  • Helmet giveaways for children complete with fittings by experts from Safe Kids Eastside (available while supplies last).
  • Complimentary biometric health and skin cancer screening screenings at the event. Personal biometric consultations for adults over the age of 18 to evaluate BMI, blood glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure levels require fasting (no food or drink after midnight, except black coffee or plain water) and are available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. the day of the event. All biometric and skin screening appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling 425-899-3000 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The Healthiest Best Family Fun Day will be held in the Silver Zone at EvergreenHealth, 12040 NE 128th Street, Kirkland, WA 98034. Parking is available at the DeYoung Pavilion, located directly across from the Silver Zone. The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.
