EvergreenHealth has been honored with a 2016 Workplace of the Year Award from The Advisory Board Company. The Kirkland-based health system is one of 20 health care organizations in the country and the only in Washington state to receive the annual award that recognizes high levels of motivated and engaged employees and an employee engagement rate well above the national median for the health care industry.
Based on 2015 survey results, EvergreenHealth scored in the 84th percentile for employee engagement when compared with hospitals of a similar size across the nation. The survey data also shows a vast majority of EvergreenHealth employees are willing to put in significant effort to help the health system succeed and most share a long-term commitment to the organization as their employer.

The Advisory Board Company presented the award to EvergreenHealth at their 2016 National Summit on March 22 in Chicago, acknowledging the organization’s ongoing commitment to creating a best-in-class work environment for its employees.
