Commuters should expect traffic delays due to the Fourth of July parade to be held on Monday, July 4.

The Marina parking lot, including Lakeshore Plaza Drive from Central Way to Kirkland Avenue and Kirkland Avenue from Lake Shore Plaza Drive to Lake Street, will be closed from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 11 p.m.

Decorating of kid’s wheels, hat making and face painting begins at 10 a.m. at the Marina Park pavilion. The kids parade begins at 11:30 a.m. and the route starts and finishes at Marina Park. Pets are welcome and encouraged.

The Fourth of July parade, picnic, and fireworks draw more than 10,000 attendees.
