Commuters should expect traffic delays due to the Kirkland Shamrock Run to be held on Saturday, March 17.

The Market Street and Central Way entrance to Lakeshore Plaza Lot will be closed from 5-11 a.m. Boat launch access at Marina Park will not be available during this time.

The 5k run starts at Marina Park, heads east on Central Way, south on Lake Street, east on Kirkland Avenue, east on Kirkland Way, north on 6th Street, west on 7th Avenue, west on 7th Avenue W, north on Waverly Way, at 10th Avenue West runners turn heading south on Waverly Way, continue south on Market Street, and finish at Marina Park.

The Kirkland Shamrock Run anticipates 1,200 athletes will participate in the inaugural event.
