A Kirkland house was severely damaged by a fire early this morning in the 11200 block of Northeast 92nd Street.
According to a Kirkland Fire Department spokesperson, they received a call reporting a house fire around 4:30 a.m.
Eight fire engines, two ladder trucks and more than 40 firefighters responded to the blaze.
The house had extensive fire damage, but there were no injuries to firefighters or the family of four who lived in the house and who reported the fire.
No damage estimates were available pending an investigation, and the fire was thought to have started accidentally, the fire department spokesperson said.
