The first free, high-capacity COVID-19 testing facility on the Eastside opened in Bellevue on Dec. 15.

The test site is located at Bellevue College, 2645 145th Ave. SE, Bellevue with the entrance along 148th Ave. SE. It offers drive-thru and walk up testing. All testing is free and open to everyone, regardless of insurance or immigration status.

The site is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. People are strongly encouraged to register online for a testing appointment, but it is not required.

Those who get tested will not be charged, but should still bring a medical insurance card and driver’s license if available. Language interpretation is also available.
