Five people were arrested on drug and weapons charges Wednesday morning after police executed a search warrant on a residence located in the 10900 block of N.E. 118 St. of Kirkland. The Kirkland Police Department had received information from several sources, including the Kirkland Parks Department, about possible illegal drug activity at the house.
“The information came from citizens and other sources,” said Kirkland Police Sgt. Rob Saloum. “They thought something was going on at the house. The information provided by citizens made the arrests possible.”
KPD’s Pro-Act Unit conducted a two-month investigation that culminated in a search warrant. The warrant was served by the KPD Pro-Act Unit, with the assistance of the Department’s Special Response Team.
The five individuals faced arraignment Thursday.
