On March 9th, Friends of Youth will hold its annual Celebration of Youth Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue.

For more than 67 years Friends of Youth has been providing support, shelter, housing, and help to over 6,000 youth, young adults and families in East King County every year.

Their services range from running the only emergency young adult shelter on the Eastside, to short term emergency placement for homeless youth, transitional housing, foster care for immigrant and refugee youth, residential treatment programs, along with counseling services for youth and families in the Issaquah, Duvall, and the Snoqualmie Valley school districts.

Former First Lady of Washington State, Mona Locke, will be a special guest at the luncheon which will be emceed by KOMO 4 journalist, Molly Shen.

Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and the program at 12 p.m.
