Friends of Youth will host its 10th annual Celebration of Youth luncheon on March 13 at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue. For more than 60 years, Friends of Youth has been providing support, shelter, housing and help to more than 4,800 youth and young adults each year. The luncheon will celebrate the successes of the agency’s clients and will raise funds to ensure that every young person has the support they need to succeed.
KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross will emcee the event, former Mayor of Dutch Harbor/Unalaska, Alaska and former Friends of Youth client Frank Kelty will deliver the keynote address, and two youth will share their personal stories of success. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Lunch and the program will follow from noon to 1 p.m.
