Gov. Jay Inslee will visit Lake Washington Institute of Technology from 2:15-3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3.
This will be an opportunity for new Lake Washington president Amy Goings to showcase the college’s innovative programs that help to fuel our regional economy.
A tour of the campus will highlight allied health programs, the Machine Technology program, information technology programs and the Digital Gaming and Media program.
Lake Washington Institute of Technology is a broad-based technical institute providing education in more than 40 areas of study and offering pathways to certificates, associate degrees and a baccalaureate degree designed to give students the latest cutting edge skills relevant to today’s workplace.
Founded in 1949, the college offers hands-on, real-world training in manufacturing, transportation, energy, business, allied health, engineering, computer and information systems, food and hospitality and health and fitness.
