Help King County create a plan for children and youth Oct. 1

The voices of children and youth, and the adults who care about them, are vital to creating the King County Youth Action Plan.

The voices of children and youth, and the adults who care about them, are vital to creating the King County Youth Action Plan.

The plan will guide the services and supports provided for children and youth for years to come. Help shape the future of youth in King County by joining Friends of Youth and CEO Terry Pottmeyer from 6-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 at Kamiakin Middle School.

Using data about how children and youth are doing, this conversation will explore the challenges they face and the solutions we can find within local communities to help them succeed. The results will be used by a Task Force to create the Youth Action Plan, which will be presented to the King County Council and Executive Dow Constantine.
