The Boeing Co. recently gave Hopelink a capital grant of $39,320 that was used to purchase refrigeration units for the organization’s new Kirkland/Northshore Center. The site is the first to implement a grocery store concept for food bank clients. Refrigeration is a key component of the concept.
The grant reflects the strong partnership between the Employees Community Fund of Boeing Puget Sound and Hopelink, as well as the Boeing employees’ commitment to helping the organization improve the way it supports low-income families in north and east King County.
