The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynwood should prepare for possible delays Friday evening, Aug. 14, through Monday morning, Aug. 17.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between Northeast Eighth Street in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete striping and paving work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.

Lane closures:

• Friday, Aug. 14, to the morning of Saturday, Aug. 15

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 520 and Northeast 70th Street will close from 7:30 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close from 8:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and SR 522 will close from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 522 and Northeast 160th Street will close from 7:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and Northeast 124th Street will close from 7:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   Up to four lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 85th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and SR 520 will be closed from7:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

• Saturday Aug. 15, to the morning of Sunday, Aug. 16

o   Up to four lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 520 and Northeast 70th Street will close from 7 p.m. to noon.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and SR 522 will close from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of northbound I-405 between SR 527 and I-5 will close from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between I-5 and SR 527 will close from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m.

o   Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 522 and Northeast 160th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.

• Sunday Aug. 16, to the morning of Monday, Aug. 17

o   Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 522 and Northeast 160th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Ramp closures:

• Friday, Aug. 14, to the morning of Saturday, Aug. 15

o   The Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

o   The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 124th Street will close from 10 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

o   The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 160th Street will close from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.

o   The eastbound and westbound SR 522 ramps to southbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   The Northeast 124th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   The Northeast 70th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o   The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 70th Street will close from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

• ·         Saturday Aug. 15, to the morning of Sunday, Aug. 16

o   The Northeast Eighth Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.

o   The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

• ·         Sunday Aug. 16, to the morning of Monday, Aug. 17

o   The eastbound and westbound SR 522 ramps to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
