The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:

Drivers on Interstate 405 in Kirkland should prepare for possible delays Saturday evening, July 25, through Monday morning, July 27.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between State Route 520 in Bellevue and State Route 522 in Bothell. These closures are needed to complete traffic shift and paving work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project. Preparing the road surface for paving may temporarily cause nearby residents to experience loud noise.

Lane closures:

• Saturday, July 25, to the morning of Sunday, July 26

o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 160th Street will close from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 a.m.

o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Northeast 160th Street and SR 522 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m.

o Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 85th Street and Northeast 70th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

• Sunday, July 26, to the morning of Monday, July 27

o Up to three lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 124th Street and Northeast 85th Street will close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

o Up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between Northeast 70th Street and SR 520 will close from 7 a.m. to 5 a.m.

Ramp closures:

• Saturday, July 25, to the morning of Sunday, July 26

o The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 160th Street will close from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

o The Northeast 160th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

o The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 128th Street will close from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

o The Northeast 128th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

• Sunday, July 26 to the afternoon of Monday, July 27

o The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 128th will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

o The Northeast 128th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 will close from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
