More than 800 people packed into the Meydenbauer Center Thursday morning to support Jane Hague’s campaign for re-election to the King County Council.
“I am so honored by this great crowd,” Hague said. “And I am eager to continue working on behalf of this dynamic and diverse community.”
The event raised a whopping $75,000 for her re-election campaign and drew activists from across the Eastside along with a bipartisan group of local elected officials supporting Hague including King County Councilman Larry Gossett, State Reps. Larry Springer and Linda Kochmar and Senators Steve Litzow, Andy Hill and former Senator Rodney Tom. City councilmembers from across the District were also well represented including, Bellevue Deputy Mayor Kevin Wallace, councilmembers Jennifer Robertson and Conrad Lee of Bellevue, Hank Meyers of Redmond, Dorreen Marchione and Penny Sweet of Kirkland along with many others.
The group heard testimonials from Eastside mayors, social service advocates and business owners who praised Jane’s hard work on behalf of the community and the results she has delivered for those she represents.
Hague represents District 6 which includes the communities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond, Medina, Clyde Hill, Hunts Point, Beaux Arts, Woodinville, and Yarrow Point.
