Juanita High School senior Breanna Maughan, along with eight other seniors from area high schools, received an Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic scholarship for 2013.

Each winner will receive a certificate of merit and a monetary award to be applied towards the recipient’s educational goal.

These awards will be presented at their respective high school awards programs or ceremonies. The recipients were recognized for their outstanding academics, school activities and community volunteer service.

Other scholarship recipients include: Megan Codd, Bothell High School; Katrina LaTurner, Eastlake High School; Kelda Byrne, Forest Ridge School; Madison Brock, Inglemoor High School; Madie Melcer, Interlake High School; Nellie Hoehl, Issaquah High School; Stacey Hurwitz, Liberty High School; Kathryn Hendricks, Mercer Island High School.

Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic has been awarding scholarships since 1956. Funds for these scholarships are raised through an annual scholarship luncheon.
